Dining Room
Whether for lunch or dinner, dining at
the Northport Yacht Club offers members an ambience some say is unmatched
on the Eastern Seaboard. Our executive chef is sure to delight and please
even the most discriminating palate. The Dining Room hours of operation
change seasonally, so please refer to the six-week Calendar of Events
for times. Check the newsletter for additional summer dining offerings.
Reservation requests can
be made by calling the club.
Visiting Yachtsmen should check with
our dock staff for additional dining events. Reservations can also be
made with our dock staff or Club Manager
Restaurant Hours
Wednesday, Lunch 12-2 pm
Pasta Night 6-9 pm
Friday, Dinner 6-9:30 pm
Sunday, Light Dinner 5-8 pm
Dress Code
Gentlemen are required to wear jackets
in the dining room on Friday nights during the off-season, between Decommissioning
and Commissioning. Neat, casual attire is acceptable during the boating
season.

Private Parties
Members may use the facilities for private
parties. The dining room has seating for up to 140 people. Contact the
club manager to arrange your date.
Snack Bar
During the summer months, the snack bar,
adjacent to the pool, is open for breakfast, lunch and snacks, generally
from 9 am to 5 pm.

Rules and Regulations
Visiting Yachtsmen from reciprocating
Yacht Clubs are welcome to tie up a dinghy at the club's dinghy dock.
Please contact our dock staff on VHF Channel 71 for the location of the
guest tie up area.
North Dock
1. No overnight or launch float
tie-ups at any time.
2. Weekends (6 PM Friday to 8 AM
Monday)
A. Two outer
floats - 1 hour tie-up
B. Two inner
floats - 1/2 hour tie-up
3. Weekdays (8 AM Monday to 6 PM
Friday)
A. Two outer
floats - 2 hour tie-up

4. Driving speed on the dock is
3 miles per hour.

Pump Out: Northport Harbor provides
a pump-out boat (Channel 9) A dockside pump-out facility is also available
in Northport Harbor.
Showers: Showers are located
in the club, on the lower level.
Community Information
The Northport Yacht Club is located in
the incorporated Village of Northport, a community of 7,500 people with
an active downtown area.
About a half-mile south of the club,
within easy walking distance, is the village's Main Street, which runs
from a park on the east side of the harbor through the center of the business
district. Along the street near the harbor are many restaurants and shops;
further east, you'll find the village historical society and museum with
ongoing local exhibits.
