Membership

Northport Yacht Club is a private club.  Membership is by invitation only.  We do not accept non-sponsored applications.  If you are interested in becoming a member you must be sponsored by two members in good-standing.  One of them will get you an application package.  If you are from the local community, you might want to go to the Club and ask one of our staff if you might look at our roster to see if you know some members who might sponsor you for membership.  Applicants will be interviewed shortly before admission.
 
There is currently a several year long wait list.  While non-boat owners are admitted for membership, boat owners are given preference.  Your sponsor will be able to give you a more exact timeframe.  This is a yacht Club.
